KINE - Center of Family and Couple Therapy
The Centro Kine started its activities as a private centre for psychotherapeutic intervention in 1980. Three years later the Training School was created to teach the Basic Courses in Systemic Family Therapy.
Our Center has two fundamental activities:
- Therapy, focused on care for families and couples in conflict.
- Training, focused on systemic intervention courses aimed at mental health, social work and psychoeducational professionals.
Regarding therapeutic intervention, our approach is to work with all those people in the family system who are interested in bringing about changes in the unsatisfactory relationships they are experiencing.
In relation to our teaching action, we train professionals in the field of mental health, social work and education, in the Systemic Model and through specialized courses (postgraduate and master's degrees).
Doña Ana Carretero Martín is responsible for the Coordination of the training courses and gives the first telephone welcome to the families.
The Centro Kine is headed by Luis Santiago Almazán, Graduate in Psychology, Family Therapist and Teacher of the training courses that are accredited by the Spanish Federation of Family Therapy as Teaching Supervisor.
